How do I move my data to another phone?
On the old phone, open the You tab and tap Sign in with Google in the Account section. On the new one, sign in with the same Google account in the same place. If both devices have data, the app asks which to keep: the device's or the account's.
Do I need internet?
Not for daily use. Recipes, macros, menu, diary and shopping list work offline, and the cloud copy updates when you are back online. Signing in with Google and receiving menus from creators need a connection.
How does the app calculate my target?
With the Mifflin-St Jeor equation, which estimates resting energy use from age, biological sex, height and weight. That number is multiplied by your activity level, and the pace you choose adds or removes calories. The target never goes below your resting energy use, nor below 1,200 kcal for women or 1,500 kcal for men. If you already have a target, choose to type it instead.
A recipe disappeared or never shows up in my menu
Check the Avoid section in Filters, on the Recipes tab. Recipes with an allergen or ingredient marked there do not appear anywhere in the app. The menu settings also filter by diet and preparation time.
The app won't let me sign out
This happens when some changes have not reached the cloud yet. Connect to the internet, wait a few seconds and try again. When you sign out, your data leaves this device and stays in your account.
How do I receive a menu from a creator?
Give the creator your Google account e-mail. In the app, sign in with that same account in You. Model menus sent to that e-mail appear in the Menu tab. The creator sees none of your data, and you can remove a creator at any time.
Do recipes cost anything?
No. All 333 recipes in the catalog are free, including those from the packs the app used to show as coming soon. The app shows no ads.
How do I switch to the dark theme?
In the You tab, tap Appearance. Automatic follows your phone's theme, while Light and Dark stay fixed.
How do I export my data?
In the You tab, tap Export my data. Choose Everything (JSON) for one file with everything, or your diary and weight as CSV for a spreadsheet. It works without an account and without internet.
Is there an iPhone version?
Not yet. TemperUp comes to Android first. The web version is used for the creator area.
How do I delete my account?
In the app, on the You tab, under Delete account. If the app is no longer installed, see Delete your account and data.
